Free History Writing Workshop

Aspiring history writers are invited to participate in a free History Writing Workshop presented by Professor Paula Hamilton. This workshop, organised by the Lane Cove Historical Society and with the generous support of Professor Hamilton, is free and open to all – but you must register.

It is also specially timed for anyone planning to submit an entry for the LCHS Lane Cove History Prize.

Professor Hamilton has been a Judge for the History Prize several times in the past. She is currently a Visiting Fellow at the State Library of NSW and Adjunct Professor of History at the Australian Centre for Public History at UTS, where she taught for many years. She is a cultural historian who has published widely in Australian history as well as internationally in oral history and the study of memory.

She has also collaborated in a range of historical projects with libraries, community groups, museums and heritage agencies.
